Morihanfen Oluwaseun Oluwabamidele (born December 15, 1989) is a Nigerian musician and songwriter better known by his stage name Sean Tizzle. He signed a contract with Sound Sultan’s Naija Ninjas. Sean Tizzle was born into a Christian family in 1989 and is the fourth of five children.
Although he was born in Ikeja, he grew up in Ikorodu. After attending Community Grammar School, Majidun and the Command Secondary School, Ibadan, he attended the University of Ibadan to study theatre arts. He began his musical career as a member of the 3-Way band as a rapper.
This was followed by Sean Tizzle’s 17-track debut studio album, ‘The Journey’, which spawned hits such as “Loke Loke” featuring 9ice, “All the Way” featuring KCee, and “Take it.” Following the 2013 release of his smash hit single Sho Lee, Sean collaborated with Unlimited L.A. to produce the music video.
In 2014, MTN Nigeria announced the signing of a 20 million naira endorsement deal with the musician. In August of the same year, he acquires a Bacardi Breezer Ambassador. Subsequently, he released “Kilogbe” and “Kilogbe Remix,” which featured Olamide and Reminisce. In 2017, Sean released the EP Moving Forward, and in 2018, he released the single Eruku Sa’Ye Po.
The musician has collaborated in the studio with notable Nigerian artists such as Davido, Olamide, as well as Tiwa Savage. He has also had the opportunity to collaborate with Canadian rapper Tony Lanez. Through most of his career, he has also had the opportunity to tour notable locations and perform at special events locally, nationally, and internationally.
Sean has performed at several well-attended events and released numerous singles that have increased his popularity. Popular Sean Tizzle albums include The Journey (2014), Moving Forward EP (2017), and Eruku Sa’Ye Po (2017). (2018). Sean is also a talented actor who has appeared in Nollywood films in addition to his music career. His notable film roles include Dazzling Mirage (2014) and Astray (2015).
In 2017, after a lengthy absence during which he worked on reinventing himself, he released his long-awaited EP, Moving Forward Vol.1, the first of a three-part series of 22 songs that he had been working on since 2015, and the first of three volumes. The EP explores fusions of Afrobeats, Reggae, and Latin sounds, and Moving Forward Vol. 1’s success bodes well for future releases.
With the release of his Kpro Kpro Remix ft. Davido in September 2018, an exquisite remix of the track Kpro Kpro from February 2018, which was viewed over 11,000 times on YouTube and shared and liked over 1,000 times on Twitter in the first two weeks after its release, Sean shows no sign of slowing down.
