Megastar Afrobeats performer Davido from Nigeria has announced that a new album is on the way. This information was revealed by Davido in a tweet on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
In the past, Davido has hinted that he will release an album in 2022. He identified the single, “Stand Strong,” as the first offering of his 2022 album, which at the time he termed “We Rise By Lifting Others,” when he released it as his first and only single for 2022.
Later, Davido announced that he had changed the album’s name from “We Rise By Lifting Others” in an interview on The Dotty Show on Apple Music. He added that, even though he is putting the finishing touches on his record, he has not yet decided on a new name for it.
In a recent development, Davido tweeted on Saturday, August 13, 2022, that he has a new album coming soon.
One of a series of tweets Davido sent praising his personality included an affirmation and an unexpected announcement about his new album.

Can fans have any hope for a new album? The chance of a new Davido album in 2022 doesn’t appear to be guaranteed with no release date in sight and no new single on the way, especially given that the year is already in its third quarter.
Fans will be keen to see the megastar keep to his word because he has consistently stated that his upcoming album is ready for release.
