With their most recent release, “Loaded,” Tiwa Savage and Asake showed no mercy as the video amassed an impressive number of views within the first 24 hours of its release. What better way to rule the charts than to take control of the biggest digital streaming platform of them all, Youtube.
On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at midnight, both the song’s audio and video were made available. On the first day after its release, the video received over 1.2 million views, over 60,000 likes, and debuted at the top of YouTube’s trending for music rankings.
The Boy Director himself, TG Omori, directed the video, which won plaudits for its originality and premise.
